Hives: Hives (also known as Urticaria) is an outbreak that appears as welts or pale red bumps on the skin. There are several types of hives, such as:

Acute Urticaria: The common causes are medications, infections, and foods. Symptoms may include muscle soreness, diarrhea, shortness of breath, and vomiting.

Chronic Urticaria: The common causes are hepatitis, infection, thyroid, or cancer. Chronic Urticaria may also affect organs like the gastrointestinal tract, lungs, and muscles. Symptoms may include muscle soreness, diarrhea, shortness of breath, and vomiting.

Dermatographism: This hive-like reaction forms after the skin has been exposed to pressure or scratching of the skin.
